The collection ‘Forests of Memory’ is the outcome of Mihaela Visovan’s doctoral research, which focuses on the relationship between emotion, memory, and space within the process of fashion creation. The research proposes a reflexive approach, in which the designer works with her own emotions as both a source of analysis and inspiration, aiming to develop a theoretical framework grounded in emotional design. This approach deliberately distances itself from the logic of fast fashion, emphasizing authenticity, emotional attachment, and the sustainability of the relationship between the object and its wearer.
